“God Loves You: A Simple Truth for Your Heart”

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NLT)

God Loves You

Sometimes it’s hard to believe something so simple. We think, “It can’t be that easy. There has to be a catch.” But God often speaks in simple truths. He loves us.

We’re the ones who complicate that truth. We think about our mistakes. We think about the things we’ve said or done that weren’t kind. We think about the thoughts we have that we wish we didn’t. We may even feel unworthy, as if God couldn’t possibly love us with all our faults.

But here is the good news: He does love us—fully and completely.
Nothing we think, say, or do makes God stop loving us. His plan is to help us grow so we can become more like Him each day.

So today, choose God’s simple plan:

  • Confess your sins. God promises to forgive you (1 John 1:9).
  • Believe the truth—God loves you.
  • Remember what Jesus did for you. He carried every sin—past, present, and future—so you could live in freedom, not shame.
  • Walk as someone who is loved, because that is who you are.

God’s love for you isn’t based on how you see yourself. It’s based on His view of you. God sees your purpose. He knows your story. He made you with care, intention, and love.

So this week, speak this truth over your life:

                                            “God loves me.”

Let it settle in your heart. Say it until you believe it.

                                                      Let’s Pray

Lord, thank You for the simple truth that You love us. Sometimes we don’t feel worthy of that love, but You don’t make decisions based on our feelings. You are intentional, kind, and full of grace. Help us accept Your love and walk in the freedom You provide.

                                              In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
